Hello from the recruiting team at Nitto Sweets Co., Ltd.

This summer, we once again ran an internship (work experience) for high school students who will shape the future!

We welcomed students from two high schools on the following schedule.

[Mashiko Hosei High School]

3 second-year students　July 14–15 (2 days)

[Sakushin Gakuin High School]

3 second-year students　August 19–21 (3 days)

Program Report

Students from both schools looked nervous at first, but once the program began they were fully focused.

This internship included:

• Company briefing & safety/hygiene training: learning our philosophy and the basics of working safely
• Manufacturing experience: joining the production floor to see and try the handwork we value
• Confectionery skills: trying nappage and piping to experience pastry techniques firsthand

They communicated well with our staff and approached every program positively and seriously!

On the final day, we gave chiffon cakes as thank-you gifts. Their bright smiles were unforgettable.

In Closing

All programs finished safely with no injuries or accidents.

Our employees also received great energy from the students’ sincere attitudes and smiles.

Nitto Sweets will continue valuing internship opportunities as part of contributing to the local community and supporting the next generation.
